Caleb Baumgardner

I was born and raised down in El Dorado, and I graduated from El Dorado High School in 2002. I went to Louisiana Tech University and graduated in 2007. After finishing college, I decided to come back to Arkansas and moved to Little Rock. 

 

As a new college graduate, I was working retail and waiting tables, and I got to thinking about my next move in life. I knew I wanted to do something where I could really help people and make a big difference in their lives. After a lot of discernment and prayer, I decided to become an attorney. I thought that with the skills I had, that would be the best way for me to accomplish my goal. I got a Master's degree from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2011 and graduated from the William H. Bowen School of Law in May of 2014. After a long summer with lots of studying, I passed the bar exam that following September. 

 

I worked in Little Rock for awhile, but it wasn't long before I was given the opportunity to practice law in my hometown, so I moved back to El Dorado in 2015. A little over a year later, I opened my own practice. Altogether, I practiced law in South Arkansas for 8 years. 

 

Then, in 2023, I got the opportunity to move back to Little Rock and work at the firm I'm at now, protecting the civil rights of Arkansans from every corner of our state. That was my dream when I first walked into law school years ago, and I'm blessed to have gotten to live it. 

 

And now, I've decided to run for Circuit Judge. If I am elected, my pledge to you is that I will give the people of Pulaski County and Perry County my best, and that people will have their fair day in court no matter who they are, where they're from, or what they do. All are created equal, and so all are equal before the law. And if I'm elected, that's the kind of judge I'm going to be. Our community needs someone on the bench who appreciates hard work and the rule of law, and who will approach their position with the humility it requires. 

 

And so, I humbly ask for your vote.
